Treatments & Technology

Discover the diverse range of treatments and technologies incorporated into my facial services, each carefully selected for their beneficial impact on your skin and overall well-being.

  • Dermaplaning is a procedure performed by a licensed esthetician who gently glides a specialized scalpel across the skin, removing the outermost layer of skin cells from the face. As an additional benefit, it removes vellus hair (peach fuzz). This hair will grow back at the same rate and texture as before.

Dermaplaning removes excess surface skin cells revealing smoother, softer skin. It also brightens the complexion, increases absorption of beneficial ingredients in treatment products, and can soften or reduce fine lines and acne scars. Dermaplaning provides clients with instant results and with zero downtime.

  • Nanoinfusion is a non-invasive technique utilizing Dermalogica Pro Pen, with stainless steel cone nanotips, which resurfaces the skin and enhances product penetration. These nanotips create micro channels in the surface of the skin to infuse beneficial ingredients deeper.

Nanoinfusion can be performed over exfoliants and/or serums depending on the client’s skin and desired results. Nanoinfusion helps improve skin texture, boost hydration as well as address signs of premature skin aging. This zero downtime treatment creates an immediate, visible change in the skin.

  • LED light therapy is the application of specific wavelengths of light energy to the skin to obtain therapeutic benefits for a variety of conditions. The absorbed energy is then used to improve cellular performance. Red light penetrates through the dermis layers of the skin to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Blue light kills acne causing bacteria in the skin and reduces inflammation.

  • High frequency facial machines function by using a glass electrode to treat various contours of the face and body. When applied to the surface of the skin, a mild electrical current passes through the neon, or argon gas filled glass electrode, causing it to emit a subtle glow and buzzing noise.

During the high frequency treatment, ozone molecules are produced between the electrode and the surface of the skin. This kills bacteria and creates a natural thermal tissue warming. This in turn creates an increase in blood circulation and cell renewal that supports increased levels of collagen and elastin.

  • Galvanic current can be used for two different treatments, desincrustation and iontophoresis.

Galvanic Desincrustation is the use of galvanic current on the negative polarity pushing active ingredients into the skin for astringent or purifying purposes. Desincrustation helps soften tissues, open pores for deeper cleansing, and dissolve sebum and ingrained dirt.

Galvanic Iontophoresis is the use of galvanic current on the positive polarity pushing active ingredients into the skin for moisturizing, soothing, and decongesting. Iontophoresis helps improve skin texture by tightening and firming, refining pores, reducing redness and soothing nerve endings.

  • A handheld ultrasonic spatula uses vibrations to dislodge oil, dirt, debris and clogged pores. This allows for gentler and more comfortable extractions for those with sensitive skin.

Ultrasonic infusion uses the same device but placed on the skin upside down. In this orientation, the ultrasonic vibrations push any product (usually a serum with high potency ingredients) deeper into the skin.

  • This is a specially designed tool that simultaneously sloughs off dead cells whilst suctioning them away from the skin. The diamond exfoliating tip works by removing the top layer of skin where many skin issues can be present like pigmentation, fine lines, acne scarring and uneven texture.

  • Light chemicals peels approved for esthetician use penetrate the outer layer of skin to exfoliate. It is used to improve fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and acne scarring. Peels work by breaking the chemical bonds that hold together epidermal cells to allow them to lift away. This stimulates the basal layer of skin to create an influx of new cells. Different peel solutions target different skin concerns and vary in strength.

Salicylic & Mandelic Acid: targets acne and acne scarring

Lactic Acid: targets pigmentation and texture

Glycolic Acid: (stronger) targets fine lines, discoloration and texture

TCA Peel: (strongest) targets textured scarring, fine lines and wrinkles

  • Innovative treatment from Dermalogica using a specialized eye mask to brighten and smooth the undereye area. The eye peel uses naturally derived Alpha Hydroxy Acids to gently exfoliate the delicate undereye area to stimulate epidermal renewal to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

  • Various instruments are used to put a participant into a meditative state allowing for your subconscious to process different thoughts and emotions. During a session a participant experiences specific sound frequencies to calm the nervous system and promote relaxation. Sound therapy also increases sleep quality and can help alleviate stress.

  • Specialized mask that seals in hydration using a jelly texture for magnified results. It increases effectiveness and penetration of targeted skincare ingredients for any skin condition. These masks also have a soothing and cooling effect to calm skin especially after advanced exfoliation services. Mask formulations are customized for each client to target their skin concerns.
